About us

WBC Cross country ski trails are groomed by BCT volunteers.

We use a few different snow machines – two sleds, two tracked Japanese Kei class mini trucks ( Kei 1 & Kei 2), a Kubota tractor and as of 2021 the new and glorious Snow Rabbit aka Erica!

Grooming or renovating is done daily during ski season and grooming runs are logged on the Nordic Pulse app. BCT grooming focuses on both classic and skate techniques.

Check out the grooming reports, weather station and webcam before heading out and be ready for a great day of classic or skate skiing!

Support BCT with your tax deducible donation, and receive up-to-date ski-grooming reports via email. Be the first to hear about – everything! Every dollar goes to gas in the tank and grease on the wheels.

OLD SCHOOL

This it how it all started with the group in 2007- a few guys and an ancient sled that never really went where they wanted it to go.
The tracks were there but tended to be shallow & wiggly. Things are quite different these days.

NEW SCHOOL

Now this is what WBC ski grooming is going to look like in 2020 and beyond. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our supporters we have purchased this beautiful ‘Snow Rabbit’ and named her Erica. She’s now our principle grooming machine. Thank you! To learn more about ‘Erica’ click here.

Your help keeps our trails going.
