2017 Trail Construction Dates

Book a Saturday and give back to the trails. The GBCTA are looking for volunteers to construct/maintain West Bragg Creek Trails.  This is a great way to meet other trail users and give back to the trails we all use.  The day will begin at 9:00 am with a safety talk, then those who have elected to bike will ride to the worksite.  The hiking group will start working right at the trailhead. Upgrades – WBC Parking Lot

We are happy to officially notify you that Alberta Parks is upgrading West Bragg Creek Provincial Recreation Area. The parking lot will be expanded and trailhead amenities will be enhanced to address site issues. Trans Canada Trail Construction 2017

Trans-Canada Trail (TCT) Phases 2 and 3 In 2016, the Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association (GBCTA) completed phase 1 of the section of the TCT that will link the hamlet of Bragg Creek with trails in Kananaskis Country. West Bragg Creek Trails 2016 Summary

In 2016, The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association focused on upgrading existing trails, adding new winter trails and enhancing the visitor experience at the West Bragg Creek trail network. Volunteers contributed over 8,000 hours of work and $150,000 of donations were spent on dozens of projects to construct, upgrade and maintain the West Bragg Creek trail network. Trails Centre Is Open in West Bragg Creek

The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association happily announces the opening of a trails centre located on the north side of the West Bragg parking lot.  The new trails centre will serve as a gathering point and as a warming hut for the many users who access the West Bragg trails.
