The GBCTA is pleased to confirm that the newly constructed West Bragg Creek Trans-Canada Trail (“TCT”) has firmed up sufficiently for use in dry conditions. If trail conditions are wet or soft, the tread will be vulnerable to damage so we ask all trail users to cease trail use if there is a risk of harm to our trails.

This year round, multi-use community trail for non-motorized modes of travel will be properly maintained by the GBCTA to ensure the enjoyment and safety of all trail users. The maintenance program includes, at a minimum snow removal, mowing, weed and vegetation removal, tread repairs, horse manure and garbage removal, and crosswalk and signage repairs.

The GBCTA will monitor trail user impacts and report on trail management and maintenance approaches of the West Bragg Creek Trail (TCT) later in 2018. Feedback to the GBCTA should be directed here.
