Tunes For Trails is a Success in 2019

We made $14,000 this year – WooHoo!!

$ 20,000 Grant from RVC for GBCTA Community Trails

The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association (GBCTA) is pleased to announce that Rocky View County (RVC) has approved grant funding of $ 20,000 for GBCTA Community Trails in RVC.

A $ 10,000 RVC capital grant will go towards placement and compacting of GreenDrop Trail Gravel on the Banded Peak Trail from the Bragg Creek Community Centre to the Banded Peak School. This will provide a smoother […]

Crew Leader Training Sets a New Standard

This is the first year that a coalition of 6 trails groups have come together for training in an attempt to standardize trail building and manage crew dynamics. GBCTA Committed to Leader Training

The GBCTA is collaborating with other local trail building groups in efforts to promote improved workplace safety and standardized trail building techniques in the region.  Trail Crew Leader training sessions are scheduled at the West Bragg Creek Maintenance Compound on May 25 and June 1.  There are also two evening sessions scheduled in Canmore on May 21 and 28.
