The GBCTA is collaborating with other local trail building groups in efforts to promote improved workplace safety and standardized trail building techniques in the region. Trail Crew Leader training sessions are scheduled at the West Bragg Creek Maintenance Compound on May 25 and June 1. There are also two evening sessions scheduled in Canmore on May 21 and 28.

Due to current soft trail conditions on the new WBC Trans Canada Trail in Rocky View County during this spring thaw, we are experiencing damage from horse hooves and narrow bike tires. The GBCTA is asking for your co-operation in staying off the trail until it has had a chance to dry and firm up. Signage will be removed at that time.
