July Volunteer Trail Days

We are having a super season out here on the trails with a record amount of early season maintenance being done. Thank you to everybody who has volunteered individually and to Steve at Birchcliff Energy and Fanny at Suncor Energy for organizing Group Trail Days. Combined with our volunteer Crew Leaders all of your efforts have made a noticeable difference!!!

Sending this quick reminder with July TRAIL DAY dates: July 6th (Sat), 9th (Tues), 14th (Sun), 18th (Thurs), 20th (Sat), 23rd (Tues), 25th (Thurs), and 28th (Sun). This is ambitious but many of these days are already filling up and we’d like to keep June’s momentum going.

Season Update

We have already sent out more trail crews than all of last summer! 59 different volunteers have logged over 2,100 hours! That is twice the amount of last year in the same time period! Kudos to the following Trail Leaders: Alf Skastins, David Owen, Becky Rogala, Andrew Pritchard, Brad Small, Pete Irwin, Aaron Gardner and Michele White. Greg Potter is scheduled to Lead a group of Spin Sisters this month. And Con Schiebel is leading the Memorial Trail Day for Jim Davis this month!
